| Oy! What a dark day for Ohio State fans. By now, your friends who are Ohio State fans, or yourself if you are one, are sick to death of hearing about last night's rout. I have to give Miami credit, they brought a good game. I don't know if that was their best, but they did a bang up job. What stunk more than last week's diaper genie is the fact that Ohio State didn't even show up until the second half. And even then, it was a weak showing. That has to be the worst showing I have seen from Ohio State since Tressel took over as head coach. What a let down. I am sure that Tressel and others will be hyper-analyzing the game for months, and that there were many factors that affected Ohio's suckitude. Oh, well. Ohio State has to be given credit for having a super season (including beating Michigan) and getting to the Championship game. There will always be next year.

| Well, it's New Years Eve. New Years is probably my least favorite holiday. Christmas is cool, celebrating the Savior and getting presents. Easter it neat too, for obvious reasons. Independence Day has fireworks, Halloween has candy and costumes, and Thanksgiving lots and lots of food. While New Years has those some things in various combinations, it just feels like a bummer to me. It is the end of the holiday season, the Christmas decorations go back into the shed for another year. The T.V. channels are all replaying the worst of the past year along with all the people who died. It all just tends to make me depressed. Don't even get me started on New Years resolutions...
I guess the best thing is to keep looking forward, rather than backward. We can't change what has already happened, but with God's guidance, we can have have a pretty good future, if we listen. A great many things have already changed over this past year. I started the year in what was probably my deepest depression yet. Now I am back in school and although I can't see the future, I have hope in the confidence that the Lord won't lead me astray. Kinda weird for me to be saying things like that, yet another change. I guess it is time to stop rambling and get back to the family. Sue and Patrick are watching the Twilight Zone marathon (shudder).
